About our countryside retreat
Comfort, care, and a little adventure.
Our 30-acre wooded campus has nature trails, streams, and spacious outdoor yards. Inside, dogs enjoy indoor/outdoor runs, radiant floor heat in winter, and individual attention.
East Concord Canine Retreat is owned by Stephen and January Fleming. Stephen has been an owner since 2008, and his background includes managing animal care facilities and working as a paramedic. Gentle handling, exercise, and your pet’s well-being guide our care.
Tours are welcome during afternoon office hours.
Rates & planning your visit
Dog boarding rates & essentials
2026 daily rates: small breeds $47; large breeds $49. Two dogs sharing a run receive 50% off the smaller dog.
Bring their usual food and vaccination records for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. Beds and blankets are provided; favorite toys or blankets are welcome.
Planning a daycare visit
Daycare is $25 per day, plus $10 for each additional dog. Drop off and pick up during office hours. Call us or use the reservation portal to arrange a visit.
Preparing for your cat’s stay
Cat boarding is $17 daily. Bring their regular food and current rabies and distemper records. We provide a blanket; a familiar toy or blanket is welcome.
Deposits, cancellations & late pickup
A $50 deposit applies to boarding reservations for two or more dogs lasting more than three days. Deposits are refundable with seven days’ cancellation notice.
Checkout after 11am adds $20 per pet; pickup after 6pm adds a full day’s boarding fee. Boarding pets with a departure bath have no late fee for scheduled afternoon pickup. Call to confirm bath pricing.
